Separation between hundreds and tens

Centenas e dezenas são geralmente separados por "e" (no Inglês Americano o and não é necessário).

Em 100, sempre use com a ou one.

a só pode ser usado no início de um número.

Para 1,000 e 1,000,000 sempre use com a ou one.

Singular or Plural?

Os números são geralmente escrito no singular.

• two hundred Euros
• several thousand light years

O plural é usado somente com dezenas, centenas, milhares, milhões, bilhões, se eles não são modificados por um outro número ou expressão (por exemplo, a few/several).

• thousands of light years
